An immersive MAD space with Italian Flair

MAD Colour teamed up with Northern Irelands Modern Furniture specialist Algram once again in 2020 to design and fit out their Egoitaliano showroom demonstrating the Italian manufacturers’ latest collection in Ballymena, County Antrim.

Algram craved an immersive space showcasing their exciting and luxurious Egoitaliano range of upholstered furniture which prides in being handmade in Italy.

Following the successful design and fit-out of their Bed Studio in 2019 Algram contacted us with a view to transforming their showroom into a truly modern space suitable to showcase high end furniture.

The Project

Having worked with Darius and Phillip before MAD Creative knew they had licence to push the boundaries and deliver a truly contemporary space.  

The challenge was to bring a showroom that had been functional for 25 years, and state of the art in its day, up to date by introducing a modern colour pallet with suitable finishes and graphic techniques.  We needed to wow customers and deliver something unique to the Northern Ireland furniture market.

Our interiors design team developed a cohesive concept using honest natural materials such as oak and birch to complement the natural leather.  These finishes integrated perfectly with high impact lightboxes, custom wallpapers and AV install delivering branded brilliance for both Algram and Egoitaliano.

The Italian manufacturer commented that the finished space was on par with anything on show in Milan and Algram have already asked MAD to work on the next phase of their showroom redevelopment.
